Dr. Arani Bose, M.D., serves as Chief Innovator, Director of Penumbra, Inc. He was cofounded Penumbra in June 2004 and has served as a member of the Board since our inception. Dr. Bose was Chairman of the Board and Chief Medical Officer from 2005 until 2015 and currently serves as Chief Innovator. Prior to founding Penumbra, Dr. Bose was an Assistant Professor of Radiology and Neurology at New York University School of Medicine from 1997 to 2004, where he also had a clinical practice. While at NYU, Dr. Bose cofounded SMART Therapeutics since 2015.
