Mr. Lee A. Daniels is an Independent Trustee of Kite Realty Group Trust. Mr. Daniels is the managing principal of Lee Daniels Associates, LLC, a consulting firm for government and community relations, which he founded in February 2007. Mr. Daniels also currently serves as Senior Adviser to the President at Elmhurst College. Mr. Daniels has served as a director of Inland Real Estate Income Trust, Inc., a publiclyregistered nontraded real estate investment trust, since 2012. He is the Lead Independent Trustee and serves as Chairman of the Nominating and Corporationrationrate Governance Committee and a member of the Audit Committee of IREIT. Mr. Daniels founded Lee Daniels Associates, LLC, a consulting firm for government and community relations, in February 2007. From 2007 to 2012, Mr. Daniels was a principal in a commercial real estate firm. From 1992 to 2006, Mr. Daniels was an equity partner at the Chicago law firm of Bell Boyd Lloyd, and he had previously been an equity partner at Katten Muchin Zavis from 1982 to 1991 and Daniels Faris from 1967 to 1982. From 1971 to 1974, Mr. Daniels served as Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Illinois. Mr. Daniels served as a member of the Illinois House of Representatives from 1975 to 2007, and he was Speaker of the Illinois House of Representatives from 1995 to 1997 and the Republican Leader from 1983 to 2003. Mr. Daniels currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Haymarket Center, a nonprofit drug and alcohol treatment center in Chicago. He also previously served on the boards of Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Healthcare, the Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Foundation, Suburban Bank and Trust Company of Elmhurst, Elmhurst Federal Savings and Loan Association and the DuPage Easter Seals since 2014.
