Mr. Steven Roth is NonIndependent Trusteeof Urban Edge Properties. He was the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Vornado since May 1989 and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of Vornado since April 1980. From May 1989 until May 2009, Mr. Roth served as Vornados Chief Executive Officer, and was serving as Chief Executive Officer again from April 15, 2013 until the present. Since 1968, he was a general partner of Interstate Properties and he currently serves as its Managing General Partner. He is the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Alexanders, Inc. Mr. Roth was a director of J.C. Penney Company, Inc. from 2011 until September 13, 2013. Mr. Roths qualifications to serve on our Board include his experience in leadership and board responsibilities for a major REIT, his deep understanding of the class of assets held by the Company and his many years of experience in the real estate field generally. since 2019.
