Mrs. Christine A. Magee is Independent Director of the Company. Christine is the CoFounder and CoChair of Sleep Country Canada, a company she cofounded in 1994. From 1982 to 1994, Christine held positions at the National Bank of Canada and Continental Bank of Canada. She also serves as a director on Metro Inc., Woodbine Entertainment Group, Trillium Health Partners and Plan International Canada, and is Chair of the Advisory Committee of the Talent Fund. Christine earned an Honours Degree in Business and Administration from the University of Western Ontario and holds an Honorary Doctorate from Ryerson University. She is a recipient of the Excellence Canada Special Recognition of Achievement Award, Possibility Thinker Award, Toastmasters International Communication and Leadership Award, and was inducted into the WXNs Top 100 Most Powerful Women Hall of Fame in 2013 after being a recipient of this award multiple times. In 2015, she became a Member of the Order of Canada. since 2018.
