Mr. Vinicius do Nascimento Carrasco is Chief Economist Regulatory Affairs Executive Officer of the company since 2018. Prior to joining Stone Co., he was the Planning and Research Executive Officer at the BNDES, having conducted, along with the Brazilian Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance, the credit reform that led to the creation of the Long Term Interest Rate . He also regularly acted as a consultant on matters of economics and econometrics, and has provided consulting services for the CVM in connection with the qualitative and econometric evaluation of the auditor rotation policy, for a credit guarantee fund in connection with the role of institutional investors as bank overseers in the reduction of systemic risk, among others. He has published several papers in his field of expertise and has also acted as a contributor for the American Economic Review, Econometrica, Review of Economic Studies, Journal of Economic Theory, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organizations, and Review of Brazilian Econometrics since 2018.
