Dr. Chris M. Hymel, Ph.D., is Chairman of the Board, President, Chief Executive Officer, Treasurer of Signal Advance, Inc. Dr. Hymel previously founded a computer systemsnetworking consulting and development firm and, later, a medicallegal firm which developed over 60 animations used in litigation support. He also served on the board of a nonprofit corporation, Educational Enrichment Center through 2009. Professional experience also includes technology development at the University of Texas, Neurophysiology Research Center, including the development of proprietary neurostimulation, signal generation and data acquisition systems, and control systems engineering for Shell Oil Shell Development Companies and Johnson Controls, Inc. Dr. Hymel holds a doctorate in biomedical sciences from the University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston as well as bachelors and masters degrees in electrical engineering from Texas AM University. Dr. Hymel holds multiple patents and has authored a number of scientific technical publications since 2015.
