Mr. Jack E. Davis is Independent Chairman of the Board of Portland General Electric Company. Mr. Davis served as Chief Executive Officer of Arizona Public Service Company, Arizonas largest electricity provider, from September 2002 until his retirement in March 2008, and as President of APS from October 1998 to October 2007. During his 35 years at APS, Mr. Davis held executive and management positions in various areas of the company, including commercial operations, generation and transmission, customer service, and power operations. Mr. Davis also served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Pinnacle West Capital Corporation, the parent company of APS, from September 2003 to March 2008. He served as a director of APS from October 1998 to May 2008, and a director of Pinnacle West from January 2001 to March 2008. Mr. Davis has also served on the boards of the Edison Electric Institute and the National Electric Reliability Council, and as Chair of the Western Systems Coordinating Council. Mr. Davis qualifications to serve on our board include his indepth knowledge of the utility industry, including utility regulation, line and generation operations, and safety and environmental matters, his extensive leadership experience gained in senior executive positions at APS and Pinnacle West, and his knowledge and experience from serving on other public company boards. since 2015.
