Mr. David B. Kilpatrick serves as Independent Director of Cheniere Energy, Inc. Mr. Kilpatrick previously served as our Lead Director from June 2015 to January 2016. Mr. Kilpatrick served on the board of directors and as Chairman of the Compensation and Governance Committee of the general partner of Breitburn Energy Partners, L.P., a publicly traded MLP, from 2008 to 2018. Mr. Kilpatrick served on the board of managers of Woodbine Holdings, LLC, a privately held company engaged in the acquisition, development and production of oil and natural gas properties in Texas from 2011 to 2016. In May 2013, he was elected Chairman of the Board of Applied Natural Gas Fuels, Inc., a producer and distributor of liquefied natural gas fuel for the transportation and industrial markets, until the company was sold in 2018. He also served on the board of directors of PYR Energy Corporationrationration, a publiclytraded oil and gas exploration and production company, from 2001 to 2007, and of Whittier Energy Corporationrationration, a publiclytraded oil and gas field exploration services company, from 2004 to 2007. He was the President and Chief Operating Officer for Monterey Resources, Inc., a publicly traded oil and gas company, from 1996 to 1998 and held various positions with Santa Fe Energy Resources, an independent oil and gas production company, from 1983 to 1996. Mr. Kilpatrick received a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Southern California and a B.A. in Geology and Physics from Whittier College. Mr since 2016.
