Mr. James L. Marvin is an Executive Vice President and General Counsel and Secretary of John Bean Technologies Corporationrationration. He became our Executive Vice President and General Counsel in May 2014, and has served as Secretary since July 2008. From July 2008 until May 2014, Mr. Marvin served as Deputy General Counsel and Secretary, acting as Division Counsel for JBT AeroTech and managing corporate legal matters. Mr. Marvin joined FMC Technologies, Inc. in April 2003, serving as Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Secretary, acting as Division Counsel for FMC Technologies Airport Systems Division and managing corporate legal matters. Before joining FMC Technologies in 2003, Mr. Marvin served in the roles of Chief Corporationrationrate Counsel and Division Counsel for Corporationrationrate Finance at Heller Financial, Inc., a publiclytraded middlemarket financial services business. Mr. Marvin was previously a partner with the Chicagobased law firm Katten Muchin Zavis, with a practice focused in commercial financial transactions. Mr. Marvin was a corporate securities attorney with OConnor Cavanagh Anderson Westover Killingsworth Beshears in Phoenix, Arizona since 2018.
