Dr. Martha Pollack is an Independent Director of the Company since February 1, 2019. She is President of Cornell University. Dr. Pollack is the president of Cornell University and a professor of computer science, information science and linguistics. She took office in 2017. From 2000 to 2017, Dr. Pollack held various positions at the University of Michigan with increasing responsibility, including dean of the School of Information, vice provost for academic and budgetary affairs, and finally, provost and executive vice president for academic affairs. Dr. Pollack is a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the Association for Computing Machinery and the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence. Dr. Pollack has served as editorinchief of the Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research, a former president of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence, a former member of the technical staff in the Artificial Intelligence Center at SRI International, a member of the advisory committee for the National Science Foundations Computer and Information Science and Engineering Division, and a former member of the board of directors of the Computing Research Association since 2019.

International Business Leadership Team
Elected by the shareholders, the International Business' board of directors comprises two types of representatives: International Business inside directors who are chosen from within the company, and outside directors, selected externally and held independent of International. The board's role is to monitor International Business' management team and ensure that shareholders' interests are well served. International Business' inside directors are responsible for reviewing and approving budgets prepared by upper management to implement core corporate initiatives and projects. On the other hand, International Business' outside directors are responsible for providing unbiased perspectives on the board's policies.
