Mr. David C. George is Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President of Darden Restaurants Inc. He was our Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer since January 2018, prior to which he was our President, Olive Garden and Executive Vice President, Darden Restaurants since March 2016. He served as President, Olive Garden from January 2013 through March 2016 and he served as our President, LongHorn Steakhouse from October 2007, when we acquired RARE, until January 2013. Prior to the acquisition, he served as RAREs President of LongHorn Steakhouse from May 2003 until October 2007. From October 2001 until May 2003, he was RAREs Senior Vice President of Operations for LongHorn Steakhouse and from May 2000 until October 2001 was RAREs Vice President of Operations for The Capital Grille. since 2018.

Dave, who is also a member of Darden Restaurants’ Operating Team and Executive Team, leads a company with 828 restaurants, more than 95, 000 employees and $3.6 billion in annual sales. Prior to his current role, Dave served as president of LongHorn Steakhouse for nine years. Dave joined LongHorn in April 1998 as Vice President of Operations, North. Two years later, he was promoted to Vice President of Operations for The Capital Grille, a division of LongHorn’s former parent company, RARE Hospitality International. He returned to LongHorn in October 2001 as Senior Vice President of Operations and was named President in 2003.
