While at Staples, Mr. Mahoney was Chief Financial Officer from September 1996 to January 2012, Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Financial Officer from October 1997 to January 2006 and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from September 1996 to October 1997. Before joining Staples, Mr. Mahoney was a partner with the accounting firm of Ernst Young LLP where he worked for 20 years, including service in the firms National Office Accounting and Auditing group. Mr. Mahoney is a certified public accountant. since 2016.
