Mr. Vandad Fartaj is Chief Investment Officer, Senior Managing Director of the Company. Mr. Fartaj was our Senior Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer since February 2016. Prior thereto, he served as our chief investment officer from March 2010 to February 2016. Mr. Fartaj also has served in a variety of similar executive positions at PNMAC since April 2008. Mr. Fartaj is responsible for all capital markets and investmentrelated activities, including the development and execution of investment strategies, secondary marketing, hedging activities and capital markets strategies with governmentsponsored enterprises. In addition, Mr. Fartaj is responsible for developing and managing relationships with Wall Street brokerdealers and fixed income investors. Prior to joining PNMAC, from November 1999 to April 2008, Mr. Fartaj was employed in a variety of positions at Countrywide Securities Corporationrationration, including managing the strategy and execution of the whole loan conduit since 2016.
