Ms. Brigitte Masella is a Vice President Environmental and Social Affairs of New Millennium Iron Corporationration She brings over 20 years of experience from across Canada and internationally in environmental and social impact assessment, Aboriginal affairs and community development and participatory research and capacity building. That experience was gained at Paul F. Wilkinson Associates Inc., where she served as an Associate from 1993 to 2014. As part of her employment at PFWA, Brigitte played a senior role in the environmental and social affairs of NML starting in 2004 via a contract between PFWA and NML, pursuant to which the former acted as the latters VicePresidency for Environmental and Social Affairs. Her other mandates included participating in the environmental and social impact assessment of projects involving diamond mines, hydroelectricity, a liquefied natural gas terminal, marine infrastructure, ecotourism and waste management, working with Aboriginal clients on natural resource management bodies, evaluating Aboriginal capacitybuilding programmes, acting as the Analysis Coordinator for a national landmine survey to map mined areas in Mozambique and assess their socioeconomic impacts and advising a nongovernmental organization on the socioeconomic impact assessment of a major gold mine project in Tolima, Colombia. Brigitte obtained a Masters degree in Environmental Studies from York University in 1993. since 2014.
