Mr. Orio Bellezza was President, Technology, Manufacturing and Quality, Member of the Executive Committee at STMicroelectronics N.V. since May 31, 2018. . He was responsible for FrontEnd Manufacturing since 2008 and his mandate was expanded to cover STs technology, manufacturing operations, supply chain, and quality. Bellezza is a member of STs Executive Committee since May 31, 2018. Mr. Bellezza joined SGSATES, a predecessor company to STMicroelectronics, in 1984 as a fab process engineer. He soon moved to STs Central RD organization and participated in several key projects, including the introduction of process technology modules for manufacturing submicron nonvolatile memories. In 1996, Mr. Bellezza was appointed Director of STs RD facility in Agrate and led its upgrade and expansion into a manufacturing and development center for nonvolatile memory and smartpower technologies. In 2002, he became Vice President of Central RD, and in 2005, was appointed Vice President and Assistant General Manager of FrontEnd Technology and before the establishment of the Executive Committee was also part of the senior management. Mr. Bellezza also serves as Managing Director of the ST Italy legal entity. Mr. Bellezza has published technical papers and earned several patents in nonvolatile memories. Mr. Bellezza was born in Bergamo, Italy, in 1959, and graduated cum laude with a degree in Chemistry from the University of Milan, Italy. since 2018.
