Mr. Russell A. Childs is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of SkyWest Inc. Mr. Childs was named Chief Executive Officer of the Company effective January 1, 2016, and has served as President of the Company since 2014 responsible for the holding companys operating entities and all commercial activities. He joined the Company in 2001 and became Vice President Controller later that year. He served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of SkyWest Airlines from 2007 to 2014. Mr. Childs earned his bachelor degree in Economics and master degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Childs was a certified public accountant employed by a public accounting firm since 2016.
