Mr. Alexander Stadlin serves as Chief Operating Officer of the Company. He has served as our Chief Operating Officer since the consummation of the Business Combination on March 11, 2017. Mr. Stadlin previously served as our Predecessors Chief Operating Officer since January 2013 and has also served as Chief Executive Officer of Playas subsidiary, Playa Management, since November 2013. Mr. Stadlin joined our Predecessors prior parent in May 2008 as Senior Vice President of Asset Management and was promoted to his current position as Chief Operating Officer in January 2013. During his tenure with our Predecessor and our Predecessors prior parent, Mr. Stadlin has played a key role in the expansion and repositioning of the portfolio including development of the 619room Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos which reopened in 2009 as Barcel Los Cabos and was rebranded in late 2013, the brand repositioning of Dreams La Romana and Dreams Palm Beach in the Dominican Republic, as well as the expansion, renovation and rebranding of the former 378room Dreams Cancn into the 547room Hyatt Ziva Cancn. In addition to leading major expansion, renovation and repositioning projects, Mr. Stadlin is responsible for the daytoday oversight of the operations of the business. Prior to joining our Predecessors prior parent, Mr. Stadlin served as Vice President for Latin America at Marriott International, where he increased Marriotts presence in the region by 21 hotels in seven years. During his 33year tenure at Marriott International, Mr. Stadlin held numerous international management positions in the UK, Germany and Mexico, as well as throughout the Middle East and Africa since 2017.

Playa Hotels Resorts Leadership Team
Elected by the shareholders, the Playa Hotels' board of directors comprises two types of representatives: Playa Hotels inside directors who are chosen from within the company, and outside directors, selected externally and held independent of Playa. The board's role is to monitor Playa Hotels' management team and ensure that shareholders' interests are well served.
