During this time he primarily consulted international transport, infrastructure and logistics companies in dealing with strategic and operational changes. Following a managing board position with the German technology company SorTech AG, he joined Austrian Post in October 2009, where he was responsible for Strategy and Group Development until his appointment to the Management Board. He concluded his studies in mechanical engineering and business administration at the Technische Universitaet Graz and also holds a MS in Industrial Administration from Purdue University in Indiana . since 2019.
