Mr. Patrick T. Ryan serves as Lead Independent Director of the Company. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Press Ganey Holdings, Inc., a company specializing in health care performance improvement. Prior to Press Ganey, Mr. Ryan worked with SV Life Sciences as a Venture Partner from 2009 to 2012, and served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Broadlane Group from 2008, until its acquisition by MedAssets Inc. in 2010. Following such acquisition, Mr. Ryan served on the Board of Directors and in the interim role of President of Spend and Clinical Resource Management through the completion of the integration in May 2011. From 2004 to 2007, Mr. Ryan served as Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the Board of Directors of PolyMedica Corporationrationration, a direct to consumer provider of health care products and services for individuals with chronic diseases, until its sale to Medco Health Solutions, Inc. Before joining PolyMedica, Mr. Ryan served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Physicians Dialysis Inc., a dialysis provider, until its acquisition by DaVita Inc. in 2004. Previously, Mr. Ryan has served as a partner at Westways Ventures, a firm specializing in the strategic development of companies in the healthcare and consumer sectors, as President and Chief Executive Officer of PrincipalCare Inc., a company specializing in womens healthcare, as President and Chief Executive Officer of ImageAmerica, Inc., a diagnostic imaging services company, as CoFounder and President of R.B. Diagnostics, a diagnostic imaging services company, and on the Board of Directors of Hill Rom Holdings, Inc. since 2020.
