Among his numerous community and nonprofit activities, Mr. Parsons is Chairman of the Apollo Theater Foundation, Chairman of the board of trustees of the Rockefeller Foundation, Chairman of the Jazz Foundation of America, and a member of the board of directors of Teach for America and the Commission on Presidential Debates.
