Dr. Tom Richards serves as Vice President Exploration of Kootenay Silver Inc. Since he graduating with a BSc, Honors Geology in 1965 and a PhD, Geology from the University of British Columbia in 1971. Dr. Richards conducted exploration projects focused on central and northern B.C. with Noranda, Falconbridge, Teck, Newmont, and Union Carbide. In the mideighties, he was President and cofounder of Atna Resources. He ran the prospecting and exploration program in Northwest Argentina for Mansfield Resources during the nineties. He has authored and coauthored numerous publications and public lectures on the geology of Central B.C. since 2007.
