Nuveen Core Equity Alpha Fund is a closed-ended equity mutual fund launched by Nuveen Investments Inc. Nuveen Core Equity Alpha Fund was formed on March 23, 2007 and is domiciled in the United States. Nuveen Core is traded on New York Stock Exchange in the United States. The fund is not classified under any group at the present time.

Nuveen Core Equity Leadership Team

Elected by the shareholders, the Nuveen Core's board of directors comprises two types of representatives: Nuveen Core inside directors who are chosen from within the company, and outside directors, selected externally and held independent of Nuveen. The board's role is to monitor Nuveen Core's management team and ensure that shareholders' interests are well served. Nuveen Core's inside directors are responsible for reviewing and approving budgets prepared by upper management to implement core corporate initiatives and projects. On the other hand, Nuveen Core's outside directors are responsible for providing unbiased perspectives on the board's policies.
