Mr. Mitchell N. Schear is Independent Trustee of the company. Mr. Schear served as President of Vornado Charles E. Smith from April 2003 until the formation transaction. Prior to joining Vornado in April 2003, Mr. Schear spent 15 years at the Kaempfer Company, where, as President, he oversaw all of the company development, leasing and management activities. Mr. Schear has served on a number of boards on behalf of the real estate industry and the community, including The Washington Convention and Sports Authority Executive Committee of the Federal City Council the Downtown DC Business Improvement District the Economic Club of Washington DC the Corporationrationrate Board of Arena Stage and is currently Vice Chair of the Board of Higher Achievement. He also serves on the Governor Advisory Council on Revenue Estimates for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Mr. Schear has a Bachelor of Arts from Hobart College, and earned a MBA from George Washington University. Mr. Schear is a Vornado Board Designee
