Mr. Robert S. Kapito is Trustee of iShares Russell 2000 Index Fund. Mr. Kapito has served as a Director of iShares, Inc. since 2009, a Director of iShares MSCI Russia Capped ETF, Inc. since 2010, a Trustee of iShares U.S. ETF Trust since 2011 and a Director of BlackRock, Inc. since 2007. In addition, he has over 20 years of experience as part of BlackRock, Inc. and BlackRocks predecessor entities. Mr. Kapito serves as President and Director of BlackRock, Inc., and is the Chairman of the Operating Committee, a member of the Office of the Chairman, the Leadership Committee and the Corporationrationrate Council. He is responsible for daytoday oversight of BlackRock key operating units, including the Account Management and Portfolio Management Groups, Real Estate Group and BlackRock Solutions. Prior to assuming his current responsibilities in 2007, Mr. Kapito served as Head of BlackRock Portfolio Management Group. In that role, he was responsible for overseeing all portfolio management within BlackRock, including the Fixed Income, Equity, Liquidity, and Alternative Investment Groups. Mr. Kapito serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania. He has also been President of the Board of Directors for the Hope Heroes Children Cancer Fund since 2002 and President of the Board of Directors for Periwinkle Theatre for Youth, a national nonprofit artsineducation organization, since 1983
