Dr. Simon James Bourne is Chief Technology Officer, Executive Director of ITM Power Plc. He joined ITM in 2002 as a Technical Manager and was one of the leading scientists involved in the development of ITMs suite of patented membrane materials. Before joining ITM, Simon was a project engineer with Sonatest Plc and a researcher with the Ministry of Defence. Simon has a BSc Hons in Materials Science from UMIST and a PhD from Cranfield University. since 2009.
