Mr. James M. Lapeyre, Jr., is the Lead Independent Chairman of the Board of Ion Geophysical Corporationration During 2012, Mr. Robert P. Peebler held the role of Executive Chairman and Mr. Lapeyre served as Lead Independent Director. Mr. Lapeyre was President of Laitram L.L.C., a privatelyowned, New Orleansbased manufacturer of food processing equipment and modular conveyor belts, and its predecessors since 1989. Mr. Lapeyre joined our Board of Directors when we bought the DigiCOURSE marine positioning products business from Laitram in 1998 since 2012.
