Mr. Gregory S. Volovic was appointed as President of Hurco Companies Inc., effective March 14, 2013. Mr. Volovic oversees all of Hurcos operations, including worldwide sales, service, endtoend management of research and development, new product development activities and operational initiatives. He has held various positions within Hurco most recently Executive Vice President, Software and Engineering before becoming President in 2013. Prior to joining Hurco, Mr. Volovic led the advanced manufacturing equipment development program for the CRT division of RCAThomson and the worldwide development of Information Technology and EbusinessKnowledge Management technologies. He also held various positions within Thomson including Director of Information Technology and Manager of Equipment Design and Development. Mr. Volovic started his career as a software developer for Unisys Corporation where he was a Unix programmer. Mr. Volovic also serves on the board of a privately held company and is a Board member of the Association of Manufacturing Technology . since 2013.
