Mr. Daniel J. Sheehan, IV, is an Executive Vice President, Chief Investment Officer of Genworth Financial, Inc. Mr. Sheehan was our Executive Vice PresidentChief Investment Officer since December 2013. Prior to that, he served as our Senior Vice PresidentChief Investment Officer since April 2012. From January 2009 to April 2012, he served as our Vice President with responsibilities that included oversight of the Companys insurance investment portfolios. From January 2008 through December 2008, Mr. Sheehan had management responsibilities of the Companys portfolio management team, including fixedincome trading. From December 1997 through December 2007, Mr. Sheehan served in various capacities with the Company andor its predecessor including roles with oversight responsibilities for the investments real estate team, as risk manager of the insurance portfolios and as risk manager of the portfolio management team. Prior to joining our Company, Mr. Sheehan had been with Sun Life of Canada from 1993 to 1997 as a Property Investment Officer in the Real Estate Investments group. Prior thereto, he was with Massachusetts Laborers Benefit Fund from 1987 to 1993, as an auditor and auditing supervisor since 2020.
