Mr. Thore E. Kristiansen serves as Executive Director of Galp Energia, SGPS S.A. since October 3, 2014. He is currently responsible for the EP business segment. He was senior deputychairman of Statoil for South America and chairman of Statoil Brazil, from January 2013 until entering Galp Energia . During his professional career of over 25 years at Statoil, he had responsibilities in the areas of distribution of oil products, trading and commercial negotiation in Norway, England, Denmark and Germany, in the operational and production areas with special focus on Norway and the countries of SubSaharan Africa and South America, as well as holding corporate positions, namely in the financial and MA areas as Investor Relations Officer. He was also chairman of Statoil Germany and Statoil Venezuela. He has a degree in Management from the Norwegian School of Management, Ostfold and a Masters in Petroleum Engineering from Stavanger university College. since 2014.
