Dr. Christian Buhl is Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Executive Board at Geberit AG since January 1, 2015. From 2000 to 2003, he worked as a teaching and research assistant at the Swiss Institute of Banking and Finance in St. Gallen and in research and teaching at the Centre for Economic Research at the University of Basel. From 2004 to 2008, Christian Buhl worked at McKinsey Company, Zurich, where he undertook projects for various Swiss and international industrial companies, supporting them in the area of strategy, MA, marketing and organisation. He joined Geberit in 2009, initially as Head Strategic Planning, before taking over responsibility for the Geberit AquaClean shower toilet business. From 2012 to the end of 2014, Christian Buhl was Managing Director of the German sales company the most important sales unit within the Geberit Group. He studied physics at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich before undertaking his doctorate in the area of financial market research at the Universitaet St. Gallen. since 2015.
