Mr. Lucio Valerio Cioffi is Managing Director Aircraft Division of the Company. With a degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Lucio Valerio started at Aermacchi S.p.A. where he held a number of technical positions until he was appointed the M346 advanced trainer Flight control systems design and testing Manager. He was subsequently appointed Senior Vice President Engineering. With the consolidation of the Alenia companies Lucio Valerio took over as Chief Technical Officer and then Engineering and Industrialisation Director. Prior to his current position, he was Engineering Director in the Aircraft Division of Leonardo. In May 2017 Lucio Valerio was honoured with the Stella al Merito del Lavoro, presented by the President of Republic of Italy. since 2018.
