Mr. James A. Bowen serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustee of First Trust Enhanced Equity Income Fund. He is Chief Executive Officer of First Trust Advisors and First Trust Portfolios L.P. and, until January 23, 2012, also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the First Trust Funds.Mr. Bowen also serves on the Executive Committee. He has over 30 years of experience in the investment company business in sales, sales management and executive management. Mr. Bowen has served as a Trustee of each Fund since its inception and of the First Trust Funds since 1999.
