Mr. Dominic Francis Michael Silvester is the Chief Executive Officer, Director of Enstar Group Ltd. Mr. Silvester has served as a director and the Chief Executive Officer of the Company since its formation in 2001. In 1993, Mr. Silvester began a business venture in Bermuda to provide runoff services to the insurance and reinsurance industry. In 1995, the business was assumed by Enstar Limited, which is now a subsidiary of the Company, and for which Mr. Silvester has since then served as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to cofounding the Company, Mr. Silvester served as the Chief Financial Officer of Anchor Underwriting Managers Limited from 1988 until 1993. As a cofounder and CEO of the Company, Mr. Silvester contributes to the Board his intimate knowledge of the Company and the runoff industry. He is well known in the industry and is primarily responsible for identifying and developing our business strategies and acquisition opportunities on a worldwide basis.
