Dr. Anastasios Aslidis is Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer, Director of Euroseas Ltd. He has also been a member of the Board of Managers of Euromar since its inception on March 25, 2010. Prior to joining Euroseas, Dr. Aslidis was a partner at Marsoft, an international consulting firm focusing on investment and risk management in the maritime industry. Dr. Aslidis has more than 20 years of experience in the maritime industry. He also served as consultant to the Boards of Directors of shipping companies advising in strategy development, asset selection and investment timing. Between 2003 and 2005, he worked on financial risk management methods for shipowners and banks lending to the maritime industry, especially as pertaining to compliance to the Basel II Capital Accords. Between 1993 and 2003, as part of his tenure at Marsoft, he worked on various projects including development of portfolio and risk management methods for shipowners, establishment of investments funds and structuring of private equity investments in the maritime industry and other business development for Marsoft services. Between 1989 and 1993, Dr. Aslidis worked on economic modeling of the offshore drilling industry and on the development of a trading support system for the drybulk shipping industry on behalf of a European shipowner since 2005.

Aslidis holds a Diploma in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, M.S. in Ocean Systems Management and Operations Research from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. in Ocean Systems Management also from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
