Mr. Robert Kelley is Lead Independent Director of Cabot Oil Gas Corporationration Mr. Kelleys extensive experience in the financial, accounting and executive management of public energy companies, as well as corporate governance experience as a director of several public energy companies, makes him particularly valuable as a member of our Board and as our Audit Committee Chairman from 2008 to February 2019. Mr. Kelleys experience as President and CEO and later Chairman of the Board of Noble Energy Inc. provides him with valuable operational, leadership and management experience. Mr. Kelleys accounting and finance background gained while serving industry clients as a CPA for a national public accounting firm and while serving in positions of senior leadership in accounting and finance roles at a predecessor to Noble Energy Inc. also brings vital financial expertise to our Audit Committee. Mr. Kelleys 15 years of service to our Board provides a continuity of leadership and an understanding of our business and strategy that is crucial to the effective functioning of our Board. This depth of experience with Cabot is especially valuable in his role as our Lead Director. since 2015.
