Merrill is a member of the Policy Advisory Board of the Joint Center for Housing Studies at Harvard University and the Executive Committee of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. He is also a director of Builder Homesite, Inc. and he chairs the Management Committee of the Leading Builders of America. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School with a BS degree in Economics. We believe Mr. Merrill’s experience in and knowledge of the homebuilding sector, gained primarily through finance, capital markets and strategic development roles over more than 20 years, is particularly valuable to the Company as it seeks to achieve its financial and operational goals.
