Joining the Group in 2004, he was Chairman of British American Tobacco France in 2005, before becoming Managing Director of British American Tobacco Malaysia in 2007. He joined the Management Board as Regional Director for Western Europe in October 2009 and then Regional Director for the Americas in October 2011. He was Regional Director for AsiaPacifc from January 2013 to the end of 2017. since 2019.
