Mr. Robert S. Kapito serves as President, Director of BlackRock, Inc. Mr. Kapito was President of BlackRock since 2007 and is a member of BlackRocks Global Executive Committee and Chairman of the Global Operating Committee. Mr. Kapito cofounded BlackRock in 1988 and is also a director of iShares, Inc. He is responsible for the daytoday oversight of BlackRocks key operating units including Investment Strategies, Client Businesses, Technology Operations, and Risk Quantitative Analysis. Prior to 2007, Mr. Kapito served as Vice Chairman of BlackRock and Head of BlackRocks Portfolio Management Group. As one of our founding principals, Mr. Kapito has served as an executive leader of BlackRock since 1988. He brings to the Board industry and business acumen in addition to indepth knowledge about BlackRocks businesses, investment strategies and risk management, as well as extensive experience overseeing daytoday operations. since 2014.
