Mr. Rui Manuel da Silva Teixeira has served as Executive Director of Banco Comercial Portugues, S.A. since February 28, 2012. He was a Member of the Executive Committee of the Company since February 28, 2012. He was Member of the Executive Board of Directors of the Company between April 19, 2011 and February 28, 2012. He is part of the Approval of New Products, Asset Management, Banking Processes and Services, Sustainability, Retail, and Pension Fund Monitoring Committees of the Company. Within the Company, he is responsible for Retail Banking, Companies Banking Department, Madeira Azores Regional Departments, Marketing Department, Network Support Department, Direct Banking Department and Cards Department. Since 1987, he was working in the Company, serving as Manager since 1990, Member of the Group Senior Management since 1994 and General Manager since 2006, having performed several functions. From 1984 to 1987, he performed technical and quality management functions in a company engaged in the manufacturing of semiconductors. He got a Licentiate degree in ElectroTechnical Engineering from the Universidade do Porto and a specialization in Industrial Management from the same institution. since 2012.
