Gov. Ercan Topaca has served as Member of the Board of Directors of ASELSAN ELEKTRONIK SANAYI VE TICARET ANONIM SIRKETI since March 15, 2017. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Manavgat and graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences of Istanbul Universitesi in 1987. In the same year, he started serving as an assistant auditor in the Turkish Court of Accounts then he was nominated as a district governor of Kirikkale in 1989 by passing the candidacy exam for district governorship. Ercan Topaca, who was sent to England by the Ministry of the Interior for a year in 1990, later served as the deputy district governor in MuglaMilas, EskisehirBeylikova and CorumAlaca districts. Ercan Topaca, who served as district governor of Kastamonu Azdavay between 1993 and 1995, Diyarbakir Cermik between 19951999 and Konya Kulu district between 1999 and 2000, served as Deputy Governor of Bolu for a while during the November 12, 1999 earthquake. Ercan Topaca, who worked as the Branch Manager in the General Directorate of Local Authorities of the Ministry of the Interior in 2000, served as Head of Department at the same General Directorate between 20022004 and was appointed to the Head of the Directorate for Administration Development of the Prime Ministry in 2004. He was appointed as Deputy Governor of Duzce on May 14, 2007 while he was serving as the General Directorate of Local Administrations starting from the year 2006, was appointed as the Governor of Duzce with the resolution of the Council of Ministers, dated 19.09.2007. He was reassigned as the General Directorate of Local Administrations in 2008 and was appointed as the Governor of Kocaeli with the resolution of the Council of Ministers, dated 11.05.2010 and numbered 2010407. He was assigned as the Governor of Hatay in 2014 with the joint decree dated 15.09.2014 and numbered 20146780. Governor Ercan TOPACA was lastly appointed as the Governor of Ankara by the decree dated 07.09 since 2017.
