Mr. Ira D. Robbins is the President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Valley National Bank, a subsidiary of Valley National Bancorp effective December 31, 2017. He was Senior Executive Vice President of the Valley and Valley National Bank, a subsidiary of the Company. Mr. Robbins joined Valley National Bank in 1996 as part of the Bank Management Associate Program. He is currently responsible for asset and liability management, debt and capital management, liquidity management, strategic planning, budgeting and derivative management. Mr. Robbins also participates in corporate development initiatives and oversees the management of the Bank Payroll Department. Mr. Robbins received a BS Degree in Finance and Economics from Susquehanna University and received his Masters of Business Administration Degree in Finance from Pace University. He is also a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. Mr. Robbins is a Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey and a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Public Accountants. since 2017.
