Dr. Robert Glenn Hubbard, Ph.D. serves as Independent Trustee of BlackRock MuniVest Fund Inc. Dr. Hubbard has served in numerous roles in the field of economics, including as the Chairman of the U.S. Council of Economic Advisers of the President of the United States. Dr. Hubbard serves as the Dean of Columbia Business School, has served as a member of the Columbia Faculty and as a Visiting Professor at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, the Harvard Business School and the University of Chicago. Dr. Hubbards experience as an adviser to the President of the United States adds a dimension of balance to the Funds governance and provides perspective on economic issues.
