He is Director of BPEP International Ltd, serves on the Investment Committee and Advisory Boards of the Baring Asia, Baring India and Baring Vostok Private Equity Funds. He is also Member of the Board of Directors of Bolero International Ltd and Softway SA and Member of the Advisory Council of Pacific Pensions Institute and Emerging Markets Private Equity Association. He was Partner of Baring Private Equity Partners for 18 years, prior to being appointed Chief Executive Officer of that group in 1999. He is Winner of the Society of British Aerospace Companies John de Havilland Award, Author of The Merger Acquisition Handbook West Germany, and Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. He holds a Bachelor of Technology Honors degree from Brunel University.
